How to use AI Compass Academy

This guide takes you from the first sign-in link to the certificate. Read it through or jump to the part that is yours.

What this is

AI Compass Academy is your company's school for learning AI. Each company has its own address and its own people. Nobody from another company can see your courses, your progress or your data.

There is no password. You sign in with a link sent to your work email. That link works once and expires in fifteen minutes.

Depending on the role you were given, you will see only learning, also your team, or the whole company.

Who you are here

Your Admin invites you with a role. You can have more than one (for example, learn and also lead a team).

  • Learner

You take the courses assigned to you, see your progress, get alerts and, if you finish the programme, you get the certificate.

  • Team lead

As well as learning, you see your team's progress, assign programmes to them and can send a reminder to anyone who has fallen behind.

  • Admin

You invite and deactivate people, build teams, assign programmes, read reports and change the company brand and languages.

  • AI Compass staff

In the console you create companies, publish content and request support access. The console never shows the name of a person from a client.

  • Support

Someone from AI Compass can spend a short time in your company, with a written reason, to help you. That is logged and expires after four hours.

How to sign in

This is the first time and every time after that.

  1. Open your company address (your Admin will give it to you).

  2. Type the same email you were invited with and press “Send me the link”.

  3. Open the email. If it is missing, check junk mail.

  4. On the confirm page, press the button. The link is used then, not when the page opens.

  5. You are in. Next time, same path: there is no password to remember.

If the link no longer works, ask for another from the sign-in page. An invite link lasts seven days; a sign-in link lasts fifteen minutes.

To leave, use “Sign out” at the top right. Also close the browser if other people use the computer.

If you are here to learn

Three places are enough: Home, Discover and My courses. The bar is on the left on a computer and at the bottom on a phone.

Home
Your day at a glance: streak, points, what you left half-done and the next step. A new certificate or badge shows up here too.
Discover
The map of what your company has contracted. A locked module is visible but will not open until you finish the previous one. Anything outside the contract does not appear.
My courses
The programmes assigned to you, with a due date if there is one, and a button to pick up where you left off.
Search (⌘K or Ctrl+K)
From any screen, open search. Type a module number (“07”) or part of the title. If the module is locked, you go to its page, not the player.
Language
If your company has several languages, the switch is at the top. A course you already started in one language stays there: changing language does not erase your work.

Inside a course

The player fills the screen. You move card by card: video, idea, exercise or quiz.

  1. Go in from My courses or from the module page. If the module is locked, we send you back to the course with a note.

  2. Watch the video or read the card. When you are done, mark it or answer.

  3. On a sort exercise, drop each idea in its box and check. If you get it wrong, it stays in place so you can try again.

  4. On the quiz, pick an answer. The screen tells you at once if you were right; the server marks it again and only then is it saved.

  5. The next chapter opens when you finish this one. You cannot skip a block on purpose.

  6. If you close and come back another day, you resume on the last card. Your progress is not lost.

You need to get the quiz right to continue. Attempts do not run out. A video or a challenge is marked seen when you say so: take your time.

If you lead a team

Under Admin → My team you only see people in your teams. You do not see the rest of the company or another company.

  1. Open Admin (the gear). The first screen is My team.

  2. Pick the team if you lead more than one. You will see who is on track, who is late and the group percentage.

  3. If someone has fallen behind, send a reminder. They get an email (unless they turned it off) and you never see their inbox.

  4. You can download your team's report as CSV (a sheet Excel can open).

  5. You can also assign a programme to your team, with or without a due date.

Figures for a small group are hidden on purpose: with fewer than five people who have answered, the detail is not shown so nobody can guess who said what.

If you are the company Admin

Admin has several tabs. Start with People, then Teams, then Assignments. Reports and Settings come after.

People
Invite one by one or with a CSV file. Each person uses a seat. You can change the email of someone who has not signed in yet (the old link stops working), deactivate someone who leaves, and grant or remove Admin.
Teams
Create teams, give them leads and move people. A person can be in more than one team.
Assignments
You give a programme to a person, a team or the whole company. You can mark it required and set a due date. Someone who joins a team later inherits what was already assigned to that team.
Reports
Company figures, a heat map by module and team, and the change log (who invited, who assigned, who exported). Download the CSV for the whole company or for one team.
Settings
Name, logo, accent colour, languages your company offers and data retention. Programme cadence is visible but not changed here. Seats are set by the contract with AI Compass.

A broken CSV does not sneak in: the screen tells you the row. Never import a list from another company: each file lives only in yours.

Badges and certificate

You do not request them: the system issues them when the rules are met.

When you finish a module at 100% you get its badge. A weekly streak can also earn one.

When you complete every module in the programme, the certificate is issued. You see it on Home and on its own page, ready to print or add to LinkedIn.

Anyone can check a certificate on the public verification page, without signing in. If the code does not exist or belongs to another company, the page does not leak names: it only says it is not valid.

If your company publishes a new version of the course, what you already did is copied. The certificate is not deleted.

Alerts and email

The bell (top right) keeps what matters: a new programme, a due date soon, an overdue date and a ready certificate.

Open the bell or go to Alerts. Mark as read what you have already seen. The text follows the language you have now.

Email can be tuned in Profile. Required due dates cannot be turned off: that is on purpose.

Each morning the system checks due dates and new assignments. You do not have to do anything.

Your profile and your data

Profile is only yours. Neither your lead nor your Admin changes your language or time zone.

  1. Pick language and time zone. The zone is used for your streak and for the “day” of your progress.

  2. Decide which emails you want, except the required ones.

  3. Read “Who sees what”: your assigned progress is seen by your lead and Admin; answers only in groups of five or more; streak and points are private.

  4. Download a copy of your data or ask for erasure. Erasure is handled by your Admin or AI Compass: nothing is deleted on the spot from here.

If you work at AI Compass

This part is the console, not a client company Academy.

Organizations: create a client (name, subdomain, languages, seats, programmes, first team and first Admin). Later you can change the contract. If a programme already has assignments, it cannot be removed.

Content: import what ships with the product and publish it when it is ready. Course text is never edited by hand.

Support: you request a four-hour access with a reason (no emails or links in the text). The link lasts fifteen minutes and works once. You can revoke it. It is written in the client log.

The console only shows counts. If you need to see a person, use support access in that client, not the organization list.

Who sees what

The golden rule: each company is a closed yard. Even if someone copies an address, they do not see the other company.

  • A person sees their learning and, if they are a lead, only their team.
  • An Admin sees their whole company, never another.
  • AI Compass, in the console, does not see people's names. With support, they see what they need for four hours and it is logged.
  • The public certificate checker does not list companies or people.

Words we use

If one of these shows up on screen, here it is in plain language.

Organization
The client company. Each one has its own address (for example, company.yourdomain) and its own people.
Seat
A contracted place. Each active or invited person uses one. If there are more people than seats, the contract has been exceeded.
Sign-in link
The email that lets you in. It works once. A sign-in link lasts fifteen minutes; an invite link lasts seven days.
Programme
The path of modules your company has contracted, in a fixed order.
Module
One unit of the programme (for example, 00 welcome). It opens when you finish the previous one.
Assignment
Giving a programme to a person, a team or the whole company, sometimes with a due date.
Lead
The person who runs a team: they see its progress and can remind and assign programmes.
Admin
The person who manages people, teams, assignments, reports and the company brand.
Certificate
The document issued when you finish the programme. Anyone can check it in public with its code.
Badge
A recognition for finishing a module or keeping a streak.
CSV
A table file that Excel can open. Used to invite many people or to download a report.
Bell
The alerts icon: due dates, assignments and a ready certificate.
Console
The AI Compass space to create clients and publish content. It is not a client's Academy.
